Radiator fan starts working as soon as i start the car....
Water pump failed? or failing? i had a water pump code long time ago like 8-9 months ago. I'm keep driving the car it is not overheating. Now fan starts working after i start the car, what i notice loss in power, and oil temperature is staying cool barely passes 160 and heat is not blowing hot air. If the car was overheating heat would blow hot air i guess... and temperature light would come on, any thoughts?

Well, if you do get a yellow temperature light come on after a few minutes, then turn red after a few more minutes, water pump it is. Do waterpump/thermostat change. Should run you 800+$ If you don't have cpo at a Indy.

If your fan comes on right off the bat even on a cold startup, I would say your t-stat is defective. Just be careful as the water pump can also just go on you and u could be stuck in the middle of no where.

Change water pump and thermostat. I just went through this, symptoms were identical, your car WILL overheat at some point soon.

Id change the theromstat first. you might have water pump damage, but id the t stat first, see if that doesnt alleviate the issue.
either way, if its the pump you have to do both, so why not trouble shoot before outlaying the cash for a pump?
