Pushing your turn signal up or down after shutting off the car (and opening the door) will cause the front and rear blinkers on one side to stay illuminated.

I use this when I park along a busy street and want to make sure people see my car parked on the side of the road.

Pushing up on the stalk illuminates the right side, pushing down illuminates the left side.

That's a cool feature, so the blinkers appears ass the follow me home lights somehow then?
I shall try it out.

Untill you put the blinker back in to the neutral/center position, you start the car or your batteries die.

Now you got everyone doing it. Good info though.

For those who have power memory driver seat, I just learned something yesterday, when car is in D mode, when you press either button 1 or 2, your passenger side mirror will move down, and once more to move it up!

Pretty cool huh?

Are you sure they are the blinkers? When I do this, the corona rings and the outside part of the LED tailights illuminate.

I think it's cool that each key remembers the radio presets, seat and mirror positions, and climate control settings from the last time you used that key.

If you sneeze after pressing the voice command button, the car will say "Gesundheit!"

Okay, just kidding about the last one.

I don't think I want to get on such a personal basis with my car, like it as I do.

Dont know what was the reason for this. Give it a try.
I tried this and it worked! Though the panel lights remained on even the engine was already off.

I don't have CA and this doesn't happen in my e90.

Haven't seen these mentioned yet:

-Ventilated cup holder in center console. One tidbit I hadn't known and have yet to really test is this:

Referenced from this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40376

- The "change holder" for quarters in the upper left center console, 4 vertical vent looking slots.

- Timed venting option. I can access the Climate menu in my iDrive and set the car to vent the air at certain times, say when I get off work, so the car will be cool. Dunno if this is available in non-iDrive cars.

After one particularly spirited episode of flying around back county roads My car automaticly dispensed hot towels and peanuts. I learned this feature is avaliable via a partnership with Lufthansa!

Didn't see this ealier:

- On the Steptronic, push the start/stop button to turn the engine off while the transmission is in drive or reverse. The car won't shut off, and the display between the main dials will instruct you to put it into park.

- When driving the car in traffic, drive normally and with the flow of traffic. Watch to see how drivers of lesser cars speed up, cut you off, and otherwise make asses of themselves when confronted with such a great car.
