Ok guys quick update the car is heading to FFtec to pull the trans and is being shipped out to Sam @ 517Trans. Lets keep our fingers crossed Sam seems very knowledgable and confident that his rebuild and upgrade will hold my Single Turbos power. If all goes well I will be all over the 60-130 numbers right away and will make my way to Sacramento for some 1/4 mile runs. Fingers crossed!!!!

Partially correct. I will be able to turn the boost up however due to the rev limit difference between the 6AT and 6MT I won't have the same peak power. Essentially the same power curve up to the 6AT redline the 6MT continues for an additional 50whp. But fast either way and I will be able to finally test the car which no 6AT single has been able to do yet.

Sammy aren't you just doing the Upgraded Valve Body and low stall Torque Converter? Will you be doing and OEM rebuild kit or Level 10. Mine is a full rebuild upgraded Clutch plates, VB,TQ Converter the whole deal. Either way we should have se great data to help everyone choose going forward.

Check the VB to see if its shimmed or if they have replaced the Springs when it gets back. That's one of the rumors is they Shim rather than actually using stiffer upgraded springs.

Flash works with some minor changes to the display. Shift point is 6800 rpm, quick and firm. Before it was soft and sloppy. Prior to upgrade, I have seen rev's shoot up into red line on shift. It would cause the throttle body to shut which is not good... As you can see in this video, at shift it quickly drops back to 5400 rpm and pulls hard again just like it should. Hope we can get this on a ST or RB car this week and see how things look after flash. Will be a good day for upgraded AT cars. For everyone else, I highly recommend flashing. I think you'll really like the Alpina flash. DIY will be uploaded soon. Special thanks to Cn555ic for all his help in getting this figured out. Couldn't have done it without.

Awesome stuff!

If only the E9X AT guys have the same option as the "SAT" on the E60s. Hit the sport button and it shifts hard, fast, and firm, without the sport button, everything is tame. Also add in rev-matching as well!

Well, it's kinda like that. D is silky smooth, S is firmer and quicker shifts, and M is crisp and spot on. Get the DIY, cable and software. It's no sport button, but will be much nicer if you have the paddles. Not sure how it will work on cars without paddles installed.

So forget about TCU or fitting another type of transmission. Rebuild what you have is the only option.
