Here some pics of mod day at my place last weekend. This is TedRoc335i's ride. We swapped wheels, installed Lux 8 angel eys, replaced the front grill and repaired a front fog mount. Then we did the side reflectors and yellow film for the fogs. Then we painted the brakes. We still were not done! We then did front splitters and the M3 style spoiler.

Lookin good Ted, you guys don't mess around. Did you take apart the fogs and do something on the inside with the yellow film?

Other than that, I'm not sure what's coming up. What part of town are you in?

Need help ASAP!

Does anyone know of any good places where I can get my fenders rolled in NE Ohio? I need to get this done sooner the better, preferably tomorrow if time permits. Thanks in advance for your help!

So anyone have a good recommendation for a shop to install KW V3s for a 335 in Central Ohio? Or any estimates for places that have them before?

Did you buy them yet? You will also need front sway bar end links if the kit does not come with a set. There is a company that makes some that are adjustable so you don't have to replace them all the time.

Do your new rims rub?

Yeah David

I was told they wouldn't because I'm not lowered (although I do have the stock sports suspension), but they still do...

That's why I don't want a 10" out back. I am going with a et45 9.5" on the rear. That is what I put on Ted's. This way I can do a 275 with a 5-7 mill spacer and still be fairly flush. I can't find anyone down here that rolls fenders without using a friking bat! I thinK Tire Rack rent's them.

Well, I was told by Zoeb (aka Wheeldude) that these wouldn't rub at all since I'm not lowered... apparently he was wrong. Plus I wanted M3 offsets

Just go with the regular e90 offset and you should be fine. The M3 offset doesn't do anything for handling. I take it you are going for look.

Yeah. It's a little too late to get the e90 offset now.

The interesting thing is that others have done aggressive fender rolling and are dropped 1.6" lower than me with no rubbing... so either they always have an empty trunk with flat, extremely smooth roads, or I'm missing something.

I have found that many people don't consider a rub a rub. If it rubs while cornering hard or with people in the back but it is fine going straight than to me, it rubs. You can run more camber in the rear and see if that works, but unless you get more camber up front which you can't do stock, then you will understear alot more. I do some track work and go down to the dragon and have no interest in any rub. Have you contacted Zoeb to see if he will let you swap the rims? LTBMW likes to really stretch tires to make M3 offsets work on lowered cars but I think that doesn't look right. What tire do you have on? 275 or 265?

I'm waiting for the west coast to finally wake up before I contact Zoeb.

I'm using 275s in the rear. I know many use 165s, but I'm not a huge fan of the uber-stretched look. I'm sure it adversely affects the tire strength and durability as well.

I've got 275's on the back of my E92 with a +30 offset but I had to get mine rolled. If you can find a place that rents the tool and a heat gun, it's really not that hard at all!

I'd rather have a pro (or someone who knows how to use the tool well) do it. Just a peace of mind issue.

I found a place on the east side, about 20 miles away that'll do it for me. I have an appointment for Wed morning. I can't wait until I stop rubbing...
