Group buy - Mesh grills
Hi, Is anyone ineterested in a group buy on the mesh parts for the E90? Michael at www.racemeshgrilles.com makes some of the best mesh grills on the market. If we group together we can make him make the moulds for the E90. Check out the E60 picture. Claus |

Interesting, but not quite right for a Beemer. Mesh is a trademark of Bentley grills, so it goes well on opulent cars; but BMW's are all business.

I have an 04 Jag S-TYPE. I went mesh up and down and it looks appropriate on a British Ford (see I even admit it). On a Jag, Bentley, etc. - perfectly appropriate and quite cool. On a BMW - NEVER EVER NEVER...does not work. On a Chrysler 300 or similar - it's Ghetto British - can this be a new term? DUNNO...maybe Bling British is more appropriate. BTW, when the hell will this bling/blang/bling...bling/pimp BS finally end. Enough already. I thought styles worked in cycles...this cycle has lasted way too long...

This looks too out of place, but is an idea probably better left on the drawing board.

I read through these posts and it seems like all you guys knock all kinds of personalizing accessories. Does anyone stylize their cars or are you that happy looking like that same bimmer right next to you. Remember its all about personality. Also, I am getting those grills. Its not ricey, its luxury on a sport luxury car.
