Tire sensor Will Not Reset!!
I checked my tires with 2 different pressure gauges and the front is right on 32lbs and 38lbs in the rear but the sensor will not reset keeps saying "TIRES LOW"
Any Idea's guys and girls is this just a bad sensor on the car or a bad tpms on one of the tires. They are original tires and rims. Thanks |

fyi: the TPMS doesnt reset itself after you adjust the pressure, it only alerts you when one or more tires' psi changes, so that can come from driving and weather too... you got to reset yourself after you check and make sure all tires pressure are good. |

Thanks for the short cut to the other thread I was searching for tire pressure problems and didnt catch this one.
Anyway I did do the reset and drove it after i set the pressures to exact spec. this is a sport and got the pressure from the inside of the door. But thanks. Maybe its as the other thread said a update need or maybe i just have to drive a little further for the computer to reset. |

Yep I had it on Sat. too and thought it wasn't re-setting, so kept pressing the button on the stalk. Finally after going about a block, it finished re-setting itself.

hold down the button for a few seconds when you reset it. that should do the trick. the same thing happened to me. however, afterwards you will need to drive a little bit before everything is all set.

The actual tire pressure doesn't matter, the computer just uses that as it's baseline. It only alerts you if you deviate from that baseline once it's been set. Try playing with the reset a bit more, you'll get it to work. Took me a few tries to get mine to reset too.
