E92 window froze

Hey guys,

First full winter with my E92. (got snow tires on friday, 12" of snow saturday also got rid of the RFT's and WOW what a difference in feel!) When i go to take out the car the windows had frozen and were unable to drop that ~1/4" to avoid the trim. Didn't notice it until i closed the door and there was a gap between the window and the trim.

Has anyone else experienced this? Was there an easy solution to it?

I removed the ice from the base of the window and that still didn't help. I figured BMW would have put a beefed up motor in there for this exact reason (possibly a fun spring project).

Thoughts or suggestions?

id go with just luke warm water, the last thing you want to do is shock it and have it break

Garage List
Take a old plastic card ( store, credit , etc) run it along the weatherstrip before opening the door...
