I don't think the OP or even myself for that matter, are trying to be M3's, if we were badging our cars "M3" I would agree with some of you that we would be posing. But we aren't badging them this way and we have to over explain ourselves in our threads that we are not trying to be an m3. So... not pretending to be something we are not, hence, not posing.

We like the fenders. We like the style they give. Basically it's the reason why we purchased them. Anyone in the Bimmer community will take one look at our cars and say "not an m3" those that aren't, may think it is, but do you really think we are trying to fool people that aren't in the community into thinking we drive an M3? Then why not badge it as such? We don't badge it because we are not trying to fool people into thinking we drive an m3.

I see people running M3 front bumpers all the time, and they don't get this kind of negativity, for the most part. So a bumper is ok but fenders aren't?!? They are both body parts...

I myself like the way MY car looks. Everyone I have shown it to likes the way it looks. If you don't then just move along. Like some say "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all" and I know I'll get the people that say "it's the internet" "freedom of speech" yes. You have that right. You definitely have the right to be an asshole and a douchebag to a complete stranger you have never met who is just trying to share his/her joy of modding their vehicle with others.

But I guess "haters gonna hate" that will never change.
100% agreed

The logic on this forum has been puzzling since I've joined this forum. This dude getting fenders is posing or a disgrace but replica wheels and replica mtech bumpers are acceptable.

calm down peeps

Props to you guys for trying to better your cars whatever you got...seen M3 in AMG 63 dust so quit knocking the guy under you. This elitist attitude is funny because if you have been around real car guys that's not at all how they do. These are just insecure rich kids not wanting anyone to be as cool as them(u know driving around thinking their better than everyone instead of having fun)...haha As funny as it is making a 328 look like an M3 that's awesome if you can pull it off!!

+1 so true modifying started as taking daily drivers with big motors back in the muscle car era and pulling as much power you could by working on your car and doing what you could to make it uniquely yours without considering what anyone else thought.

I really don't care bout ppl saying this or that the reason I bought it because I really like the style of m3 fenders and I want to make my 328 to look better than stock so why not making it better looks for my 328 right

If I'm next to the real m3 I'm not embarrassing because the m3 still in the family isn't like I'm copy other cars like Lamborghini or something like that right....

The M3 passing you probably wouldn't even know its not one! Lol!!

I think it is so perfectly ok as long as the M3 badge is not stuck at the back.

100% agree ^^^

I am one that went through my car and removed all the ///M badges, but after seeing E93Mac's and OP's ride with the M3 rep fenders, I am definitely on that wagon to put them on mine also.... I am still with removing the ///M badges, but that is my personal opinion. Any BMW enthusiast will know right away that it is not a M3. Heck I have people asking me if my 335is is a M3, and that is because they do not know BMW's. But anyone who knows BMW's will know exactly what it is.... So rock those fenders OP!!!! Hope to be doing the same this summer.....

I don't know why there is so much hate for this guy when there was so much love for a guy like creaminz. He practically did the whole m3 conversion on a non m3...Give this guy a break.

OP, maybe if there was a way to get rid of the m3 logo from the led lights people would be happier. I could care less.

Yeah Mine are blank at the side just a silver gap. No logo at all. I'm thinking of vinyl CF, or doing something creative on the side of the fender

Not sure what yet. We have a 3D printer so, hopefully I can come up with some cool design that can fit in that space!

What kind of 3D printer do you have access to? What kind of materials can you print with? Ask because I have Solidworks and was thinking the same thing about designing some of my own parts and 3D printing them and do have some sources but if you would be interested in printing, PM me.
