I'm going to contradict my earlier thoughts about the iPod scroll speed with progman v. 28 on an older, dealer-install adapter. I originally though there was no difference in speed, but ...

I just went down to experiment with a long playlist, and I'm now realizing there actually is a huge difference in speed when scrolling through the list. It's not as fluid as using an iPod itself, but I now see that progman 28.0 made a difference even on my dealer-install adapter.

Whether my list now scrolls as quickly as a factory-install adapter, I can't say. But I'm happy with how it is now. For those of us old-timers that had the original dealer-install adapter, progman 28.0 is a nice upgrade.
