Need some help guys.

Well I got code 49a5 but I can't seem to find where I can translate that. Is there a website that provides the codes? I googled it and other codes came up "p1056" and things like that, but nothing similar to what I was given. Thanks for shedding some light.

What tool did you use to read this code?

Scan tool from berger. Bought it with the jbd module. I read it through the speedo.

Hey guys, just an update if your bored enough to read it.

Took my car in for service for the aforementioned code I was getting. Long story short I was nervous because I couldn't locate the code I was given. It was my first time removing the jbd and clearing codes for warranty work. It ended up being a faulty coolant sensor. All is ok now, jbd going back on today.

Side note I borrowed their 2012 328i coupe. I'm really glad I spent my money on a 335. Especially the d. The best part about the rental was the motorized arm that extended my seatbelt so I could readily grab it. I thought "f yeah, you best bring my seat belt closer, or else"
Cute car, but I'll pass

So you cleared the code(s), removed the JBD, and the code came back?

Yeah it did and stayed on. I cleared it several times. They covered the repair under cpo. Jbd went back on in less then 5minutes. Back in business
