335is suspension
This is what I have found on Dinan web site:
"The 335is comes from the factory with some upgraded components over its little brother the 335i. One of these factory upgrades is the suspension system. More specifically the shocks and struts have been improved so much that they now meet Dinan standards." I wasn't aware that the shocks and struts are different on 335is. Is that true? |

Probably. Early 335i dampers sucked! I'm sure BMW had them revalved. To know for sure, check the part numbers for both cars..

I like the overall feel of my 335is as compared to my previous 335i coupe, however, I did transfer the M3 front and rear sway bars and installed rear sub-frame bushings. I am trying to keep as much OEM components before reverting to my boxed PSS10 (way too low). In regards to 335is dampers, I've noticed that Dinan has an upgrade to the rear shock (more of less the rear upper shock mount or "hat." Part number D110-0008. From Dinan: The 10mm Rear Upper Shock Mounts replace the stock mounts and increase shock travel by 10mm for improved ride quality and performance. Ride-height is not affected, and an alignment is not required...
