hey fellow JB owner

Question, I applaud your diligence, but I know that I'm too lazy or won't have enough time for that entire process. Can you recommend a good car soap, just for weekly washes, then drying with mf towels.

Much thanks.

Do you think the SIP with an orange or yellow pad will do the trick? I hate to spend more money (the SIP isn't cheap), but worth it I suppose.
Chris- I'll send you a PM later. This is a great question for George from DI. You can also PM him.

Thanks.

Minimum 5 things for a great washing experience: 5 gal bucket, Grit Guard, car shampoo, washing medium, and (wool mit, Lake Country Red Foam Ulti-Mit, or Uber boars hair brush) Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel. Technique is also important. Never wash in circles because you could introduce more swirls into the paint. Like Tony(Toad) taught me, follow the grain. If you want to step it up like the pros - then two bucket system, foam gun, and water cleaner system. A foam gun is next on my list.

Personally for cost and effectiveness, I would try the P21S Shampoo, LC Red Mit. Don't forget the grit guard, and drying towel. There are great resources here, and make sure to support our vendors!

Dodo Juice - Born to be Mild works really well especially if you're using any of the Dodo wax products. Seems to "replenish" the applied wax rather than wear it down so quickly as other shampoos/soaps do.

I always use an orange pad if I have any type of light - moderate polishing/cutting to do. Just enough bite to remove the smaller imperfections we JB owners hate ........

Haha, thanks Tony! One day I'll be almost as good as you. Those were at my buddies house because I barrowed his garage. My little camera doesn't capture the shine...time for a DSLR.

Thanks for helping out with the other questions. I was hoping you would chime in.
