Light bulb light came on after installing pbx
Hello,
I installed a pbx yesterday and everything went ok (except I broke a tab on the left sensor - I ziptied it back). Drove for around 25 miles and then I got a light bulb with a exclamation point. Is this coincidence or should I check something with the pbx install? Thanks, Mike |

When you start the car did it have some sort of abnormal revving? |

Car was and still seems to be running fine. Does anyone know if one of the wires we pull could actually cause this? Also, what is the left sensor for (the one you twist to take out in the beginning of the install process)?
I don't want to take it all apart again unless we can establish that's the probable cause. At first glance, it seems like all my lights are working. Thanks, Mike |

The fact you got an exclamation point warning means something is not hooked up right. I would highly recommend you go back in and make sure everything is snug. make sure all the connections you taped together with electrical tape is secure.

+1, you really do not not have any other options. You have a finger problem and you'll have to go in and fix it.

Ok, I will. I just wanted to see if any of those wires could actually cause this issue. Also wanted to see if the sensor had anything to do with it.

Do you have a faulty exterior light?

Then I would suspect a common sensor issue and check the ECU.

Talked to burgertuning and they also stated it was coincidental. Good, though now I have to deal with a angel eye install. Seems a bit of a pain but oh well.

I have an e90 so I'm going to do it this weekend. Hopefully I can get to it easily enough without taking the tires off. I had gp thunders waiting to be installed anyway so it really is a relief that the bulb was the issue.

Take off the tires, it is much easier if you do.
