Which size is a better choice?

Hey guys,
my friend has a 07' 328i sedan. He wants to invest a set of rims from **********s.com. They are bbs lm replica. I recommended these sizes below

Front: 18x8.5 +45
Rear: 18x9.5 + 48

He's not looking to go stance or anything. Just a nice set of rims. He probably just drop it an inch or 2 later but that's about it. He placed his order and **********s called him and said the 18's are for like 1-series. And that he should go with 19's. These are the choices for 19's. So which size would be best to go with and fit with no problems w/ a drop later on?

Front: 19x8.5 (+35 or +15)
Rear: 19x9.5 (+33 or +45 or +22)

I have 19x8.5 et 35 front and 19x9.5 et33 fits good. You could also fit 19x9.5 et 33 front and 19x9.5 et 22 rear fairly easily with some stretch.
