Tire shine without the gloss
Hello, what's a good tire cleaner/dressing so the tire looks like fresh rubber with a deep black color to it without the gloss and a hint of sheen? Thanks

Have you tried a different application method with the product you are already using....most I have used always apply a little too shiny for my taste...I typically apply then give a second wipe with a dry microfiber towel......knocks down the gloss and prevents sling...
If you are set on a new product Tuff Shine makes one of the best, though due to price its not my go to....my current go to is Griot's Black Shine due to price and availability......

Give the tire a beautiful fresh new look, without nasty gloss. Usually what I do is: 1. wash the tire 2. degrease the tire 3. wash the tire 4. dry tire 5. apply first coat of 303 Aerospace Protectant and let dry 6. apply second coat of 303 Aerospace Protectant and let dry 7. you may run a towel over the tire if some excess product is left behind 8. apply first coat of optimum opti-seal on tire and let dry 9. apply second coat of optimum oti-seal on tire and let dry 10.enjoy the new tire look for a month to two I detailed my car a month ago and tires still look fresh due to opti-seal sealing in the 303. And as always for every two sprays of the 303 on the car, one spray in the mouth, because its that damn good! Cheers |

Yes.
Definitely perfect on dashboard and all vinyl/plastic surfaces. No heavy gloss or greasiness. You can also use it on leather bcause of its protective uv properties. I usually use a leather cleaner/conditioner first. Followed by 303. Last edited by Wolf 335; 08-02-2016 at 12:53 PM.. |

CarPro PEARL is something you should check out. It makes the tires look clean with a hint of shine which is exactly what I like too. It’s water based and won’t sling off the tires like most gels or other products out there. You can also dilute it depending on your need.

Agreed ^^
https://www.amazon.com/Optimum-OB200.../dp/B00BFUFT2S Optimum Opti Bond, easily my favorite choice for a "like-new" finish without the ugly shine. I've used tons of products the past 14 years, and I will continue purchasing it indefinitely. |

just purchased the 303 and it leaves a fantastic black finish as if I just bought a pair of new tires!
BTW, what's a good tire cleaner prior to applying the 303? 3M or Mothers? Thank you all again. |
