I have Qty. (1) K&N Air Filter P/N E-2022 for sale:

SOLD - Thanx!

I bought this for my Euro Intake Conversion - when it was received, the tamper proof seal on the box was broken. Inside the wrapping on filter was also opened - air filter looks as if new/unused.

I called to return it for another just on the principle that I paid for an unopened filter - they sent me out a new filter and said to just keep this one.

I know what they cost @ cheapest supplier (AutoAnything) because that's where I bought it. Not looking to go lower - so if ya want to save $11 this is for you, otherwise I'll just keep it as a spare...

It's where you install the Euro Airbox setup in place of your stock restrictive airbox with the carbon filter.

Euro Airbox does not have the carbon filter, and uses a lid on top to access filter similar to the GM Performance Airbox setup. It also uses a round style filter whereas the stock is flat.

Even Dinan removes the charcoal filter as part of it's upgrades. - but that entails cutting/dremeling out the filter as it is molded into the rear airbox half permanently.

Whether or not the Euro conversion yields any gains is up for discussion, but I went with it because:

#1 Access to filter is so much easier with Euro as all you have to do is remove top lid - instead of having to remove entire airbox to get at filter

#2 Didn't want to have to take the time/care to cut out the charcoal filter

#3 Very similar in design to GM Performance Airbox, yet half the price (if buying new)

I actually got my Euro setup free, as I simply traded my stock airbox with a forum member that needed the back half of my stock airbox for his GM Performance airbox.
