Top max performance street tires would include the Conti Extreme Contact DW and Michelin Pilot Super Sport. If you're willing to accept some road noise and faster wear then look at Extreme Performance summer tires like the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 and Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec.

What about Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx TT? It is relatively cheap and gets good reviews.

You guys are confusing Hankook Ventus RS3 with Ventus V12.

The V12 is the one that has been all the rage on the forums and beat out almost every tire in a C&D comparison, including Michelin PS2.

Micheline Pilot Super Sport

Other considerations, for budged concience folks, Hankook V12's and Continental Contact DW.

In all seriousness if you haven't yet give the Vredesteins a chance they are on par with the PS2 and I run them on my 500whp beast 295s hold man and they're SUPER quiet and wear really really well

No dude. You are confused. The RS3 is the tire people are raving about. The V12 is nice but if you wanted higher performance especially in the dry, the RS3 is the way to go. I just got back from Thunderhill and many people were using them over R compounds due to the great performance and low cost. Obviously they are not comparable to R compounds but are great if you want to drive to/from the track and never change tires.

The one thing posters forget is that the OP stated he needs 235/265 tires. I assume that means 19". That alone will eliminate many of the tires people mention.
