A few of us visited Avus Autosport to view their facility and showcase of Dinan modified BMWs including their E90 330i equipped with Dinan suspension, BBK, ram-air intake, high-flow throttle body, and free-flow exhaust system.

I would like to thank Avus Autosport, and Dinan representatives Jeff Lutjens, and Izzie for their hospitality. Before we left, Jeff gave me a big thumbs up thrill ride in the E90. I will post a video when time permits.

The Stage 1 Suspension system consisted of Dinan Performance Springs, Koni Struts, Koni rear shocks and bumpstocks. I was impressed by the suspension, which was very compliant and forgiving when going over bumps while cornering at high speeds. Body roll was minimal. The ride was noticeably more rigid, presumably in part from the stiffer dampening.

I was quite impressed with the beefy exhaust system, which had a very nice throaty and aggressive, but not obtrusive sound. The muffler and mandrel bent piping were quite substantial if not hefty. I could not squeeze under the car to take a good look, but the system seems to be complete cat-back with what appears to be 3" piping. I liked the exhaust note. It was not annoyingly loud, nor did it have that typical deep, sickly boat sound. Take the stock 330i exhaust, hook it up to a stereo system, turn on the bass, treble and midrange especially, and you'll get a good idea of what the exhaust sounds like.

I'm getting some mixed opinions about when this will released depending on who at Dinan I speak to. It is definitely in the works according to Jeff. He feels it may be a couple of months off.

good stuff!

yea, that dinan e90 exhaust is kinda ugly. their exhausts tend to go towards the ugly side, but they usually sound pretty good. if i got that, i'd have to paint the muffler section black for sure.

I cant wait to get my exhaust. I am the sales rep at Flemington BMW for the Dinan parts. I got a sick deal on the Dinan exhaust, Ram air intake, and throttle body. I will also have the software as soon as it is available. I should have everything on by christmas. I cant wait to say the lease. If anyone in NJ/NY/PA wants some dianan parts let me know. I can sell you the parts and get them installed at my dealership. Also PM me with any questions as I should be able to help you with pretty much anything. Thanks for the pics guys. I am also going to customize the piping on the Dinan ram air intake to work with my Bimmian CF intake.

The made more power by only making 2 pipes work. The backpressue was optimized with 2 pipes instead of four. This is why the tips are black so they will always match being that smoke only somes through 2 of them.

no they are not. They are michelin Pilot Sports 2's. I have them on my e90 and the car drives 10 times better and it handles better as well. I would urge everyone to go with this setup. I have them mounted on the stock sport package 162's.

I drove the e46 M3 supercharged in october when the rep bought the car to us. It is amazing and sounds sick. One of the best all around cars I have EVER driven. I also drove the dinan 545 and the handling is better than the M5 yet it rides smoother than stock. Diann stuff is for real and it transforms the cars for sure.

Went to Avus Autosports on Dinan Day and ended up ordering the exhaust, intake, and throttle body for my e90. Received a good deal for everything installed should have installed this week. There e90 drove great I mean its no M3 but convinced me to go through with the purchase.
