Hey, if i were Captain Jack, i would be driving my e90 as much as possible to get the break in finished. There wouldn't be any time for pictures!

Anyone in Chicago want to break in their car at the end of this month? I am planning to drive to Maine and come back in 2 days.

The car already registered in Government. The salesman said the picking up will be around 5:00pm on 20050509, ie Monday.

OK, you guys asked for it...Here are enough pictures of an Alpine White 330i to satisfy most Bimmer Heads. I hope I don't blow jwocky's budget for bandwith with all these pics. I'll have to break these up into 3 separate postings since I believe there is a 10 pic limit per posting.

I have included some interior shots with and without flash since the effect is quite different. Even a Nikon D70 can't really do the interior colors justice.

so you got the beige interior with wood trim, I was thinking to get that too. I thought the aluminium look will be weird on a white car, agree?

OK guys, I was nice enough to take the time to take these pics and post them. Now, I would REALLY like to hear some HONEST feedback on what you all think of AW. BMW never really showed this car in white in any ads here in the states. Trust me, you won't hurt my feelings if you don't like it, but I think everyone one on this forum would really appreciate some honest feedback now that you've seen one.

To be honest with you, I really don't know. Color and interior choices are really such a personal and subjective issue that I can't answer that. I ordered what I knew would please me. If you asked me what I thought of a Pink E90 with Green interior, there's no question but that I would think it "STINKS" and I'd tell you, but that's not the case. BMW simply will NOT allow you to choose a stupid combination!!! I think we all are looking for approval from our fellow Bimmer Heads on our choices but I really don't think you can make a bad choice. BMW won't let you.

Having said that, I really do think it is really interesting to find out what other Bimmer Heads think about the combinations they would choose after having seen all of them. Man, I'll tell you, Arctic is the best example. If you look at the "Ultimate E90 Test Drive" I posted last week you'll notice that I had posted a couple pictures of a car at the event with that color. After seeing it in the flesh I still don't know if I love it or dislike it. I know it looks best with beige interior but beyond that I just don't know. It's a facinating color that changes as the lighting changes.

It's all subjective -- It's what YOU like!!

Opinion: AW Rules......

Black and Blue: Too bussiness like... (Thou black would be my next choice, goes well with angel eyes at nigth)
Red: No way
Silver: Too sporty, and it's not ALL sporty
Artic and Graphite: Could work...
White: Perfect

I was just about to post this...i was going to ask someone if they they can do a photoshop on the 'side' picture (8th pic) with some black windows tint and white rims (not silver!)!

Thanks so much for posting AW pics Capt.

You have definitely helped with my decision. I LOVE the alpine white, probably more than the silver. With my Z4 also being silver it makes it more logical to have white and silver bimmers.

I like it, but I also currently own two Alpine White BMWs. I'm sure it needs to be seen in person to truly apprciate as pictures of any color combo do not do the E90 justice. The only thing that bothers me is how much the front orange turn signals/reflectors stand out. AW w/ black and alum. will probably be one of my top choices when the time comes...unless BMW happens to offer some better exterior colors.

Great combo SCA. But, down here in south Florida black interiors in July and August don't cut it. "Holy *hit that seat's HOT!"

In cooler regions though that would really look great!! :rocks:
