HELLA FLUSH folks! Do you guys remove your rear wheel wells b/c it rubs?
I recently just put 15mm spacer and my car is rubbing in the rear when I'm on bumps and turns. I figured it was the wheel well since my fenders are rolled. So are you guys removing the wheel wells? If so, is there a DIY on this? Sry to post this in general section since I'm not sure if it would go under suspension or wheel section. Thanks in adv.

How about some details on your tire size, wheel size, offsets etc. E90 or E92? It would be hard for anyone to give real advice with such lacking details.....just sayin'

I wouldn't recommend removing the wheel well liners - there are quite a few items mounted behind them (especially in the rear) that include electrical parts/modules & connection junction boxes that are not covered themselves - that should not be subjected to road crap being constantly sprayed on them (that's why the liners are there).
1st thing that comes to mind is the alarm tilt module and siren located at top of driver rear wheel well (if you have the alarm) but there are a couple other modules under there in various places

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm going to try installing a rod between the fender and the liner to see if it helps. Im running 19x9.5 with a 15mm spacers and fenders rolled.

beginning offset of the wheels and tires size would help....a lot of people are running 9.5" with 22et (m3 offset) with 265 and no rubbing issues

Do you have coilovers with adjustable damping? if not you have four options.
1. Get a set with adjustable damping 2. Get more stretch on your tyres 3. Camber 4. all of the above. |
