How do you keyless start without CA option?

Like the title says, I'm curious how to start the car without keyfob plugged in. I remember hearing people mention you can do that, but never caught how. This is for cars without CA option.

Only method I remember is someone mentioned to start the car first with keyfob then turning off and then start again really quickly without keyfob. This method sounds redundant and would make me look like a complete tool if I had passengers in my car; any other methods?

You can buy a remote start deal, but it uses a remote as the name implies, and not your start/stop button on the fob. I think it's mainly to warm up cars and such. Not sure all that's available as I've not had an interest in it. I know I've seen a thread or three about it, but you'll need to do some searching. Try googling e90 remote start. e90post threads come up that way, and sometimes the google search is better at pulling threads than the e90post search. GL
