Dyno results! AA tune 2011 328xi
205HP to the wheels!! that is excellent considering it has 230 crank and its an AWD car.
I will post the results soon I need to figure out my scanner but just thought I'd let you guys know, also its done on a mustang dyno which is known to show lower numbers then dynojet so with that being said I could be pushing 210+ HP to the wheels which I think is excellent! |

nice :)
Those are some nice numbers considering the fact that ur awd so more drive train loss. I do admit that 328i's are a little on the slow side but with a few bolt ons + their good handling they make a good fun car

was baseline same day, same place? if not, it's really hard to put these gains in perspective.

The guy went out and paid for a dyno. He posted the results here for all of us to see. It may not be the most precise, but we can say with confidence his 328xi is making 205HP to the wheels with the AA tune and his listed mods using that specific dyno on that specific day.
If someone really wants to they can look up his zip code and see what the temp and humidity were that day...if they're that serious. Either way, we should all be able to easily reproduce his results. That knowledge is worth something and for that - I thank you for sharing your data with us. |

That's because a sonata turbo has 274hp. But still, it's not as fast as you think, it's only available in automatic, and has a little bit of lag. The 0-60 is clocked at about 6.5 seconds, which is about the same, if not slower than what I've seen for a 328i.
People who think the 328i is slow must have never driven any other cars (or trucks) in their lives, and have zero driving experience. Most other cars on the road are a lot slower than a 328i. Last edited by mike-y; 01-26-2011 at 01:05 PM.. |

Why does it matter what cars are faster? Who gives a shit really? Could I have afforded an M3 that would whip all your asses? Sure! Did I buy one? No. For all of you clowns with your slow comments, it isn't always about speed. Sometimes, it's about the driving experience, and oh yea...reliability. So to the 335 clown and the other joker, the only things that are currently slow in this thread are you guys. Go troll the turbo and M3 forums. Consider yourselves kicked out of the sandbox, we don't care about your opinions.

I commute 90 miles each way to work, that's 180 mile round trip every day. I need a car that is comfortable, efficient and reliable. As a bonus I want it to be fun to drive during my non-commute time. My 05 Land Rover LR3 was comfortable but not nearly efficient. If not for the MPG I'd still own it. My 06 civic was efficient at 39 MPG but not comfortable. It was also boring. My 07 328i E93 is almost a perfect fit. More HP would be nice, but not if it means getting less than 27 MPG. I may have got a 335i, but when I bought my E93 they were really hard to find (I bought mine 150 miles from my home) and I wanted a hardtop vert more than 70HP. Sweet car. I had |
