sounds very raspy... if that's what you prefer, good job.

As for me... nah... looks like i won't be getting the BMW PE after all, especially since i plan on getting the headers from MMW.... (completely catless)

Very raspy indeed but good overall.

Would love to see Gavin's headers once they get installed for the forums too!

Add some vibrant resonators to get rid of the rasp and it should sound amazing.

not sure yet... i'll wait and see after i get these Ceramic Headers from Gavin@MMW.

It'll be tough considering i typically can't try out different setups BEFORE i buy them... i know one thing though, i can't go back to OEM muffler because i already sold it... lol

Little loud for my taste lol. But hey you are definitely not holding back on modifying the car. I am hoping to get a nice grumble out of the Bimmer. I actually love the sound of the Laptorr exhaust but I would never ever spend that on an exhaust.

The price is below the video. But an amazing sound regardless. If I could make the car sound like this I would be very happy.

Do you have a dyno for everything that you have done with the car?

yeah i agree i just dont think the performance exhaust would make it raspy i have heard a lot of them and then bmws with headers usually its the headers combined with the exhaust that leads to the rasp im waiting for dynos and videos before i go with mmw heads i guess i just wanna make sure i like sound and gains before i decide which headers to buy

It's that fact that your completely catless that's making it raspy.

Put in a Vibrant 12" resonator and will do MAGIC for your exhaust note.

I agree -- it sounds horrible. Maybe the vids had another purpose, like for a sound test.

thank you guys for all your feedback, my setup now is too loud for me also.
i am thinking to put my oem resonator back. but i'm afraid getting some rattle issue just like my old setup (with oem exhaust) because it's not highflow.
or maybe i should get Vibrant 12" resonator just like Dr.G suggest, and where should i put that vibrant resonator?? before or after the Y pipe??

panpon, the rattle issue is from the center muffler. Double check that & delete it. You might like it better that way.

I am thinking about doing the primary delete as well but I do not want it to be loud at all really. Has anyone left their resonators & OEM muffler with a primary delete? I think dimsum did but I can't get in touch with him. I want to know what it sounds like.

The first 3 videos sound like a tiny propeller engine.

Am I the only one that feels you shouldn't have a loud ass car if it's slow??
