How ugly is this?
I was casually browsing BMWs site today and noticed the below picture. They use fancy words such as "function space" and "dynamic design," no matter how much sugar coating this still screams "mini van" to me.

That's a really small minivan. I think mercedes did a good job with the 2013 R350, BMW has to pick it up.

As minivans go, that is the best I have seen - looks about the size of a c-max, but much cooler - still a minivan though!

Good for BMW for thinking outside the box and make a minivan that isn't fat and bloated. Most people don't need a T&C, Odessey, or a Sienna, they just convince themselves that they do. Most of the real minivans discontinued in the 90s, with some remaining ones that sucked badly, such as the Astro and the Windstar. The real good one that remained was the Mazda5, but the engine was a bit wimpy. If they had put the Mazda 2.5 V-6 in the 5, I would've gotten one.
Size doesn't always matter. It's all about designing and allocating cargo and passenger space. BMWs are known for that, and that new minivan looks great, IMO. |

no. see image.. it's a crossover. I dont know why Bmw would come up with that after X1 introduced. But I think it is better than X series.

I'm beginning to get sick of BMW. What the hell are they doing.
No one that owns a BMW wants this. They're probably going to be losing more customers than they gain with all the shit they've been doing lately.

As far as I can tell it is a classic station wagon like Subaru outback. They may call that crossover for marketing purposes. It seems BMW is turning into grand touring and soccer mom company. What are those Bavarians smoking these days ... and the guys facial expression is like wtf is this thing put me in a new Jag
