For about 10 seconds I felt very faint vibrations in one of the walls in the room I was in at work. I thought it was somebody next door or above/below moving a giant file cabinet or something. Then my whole building (just outside DC in PG county) started to shake violently for 20-30 seconds, as people ran for the doors and evacuated. It was pretty scary, my first earthquake lol.

Evacuated my building as well..although it was after the building shook, peeps were giving me weird looks as I ran back inside to grab my keys O_o

Scared the crap out of us. The house was shaking and rolling back and forth. Things fell and broke. Some water lines broke in my neighbor's place and completely trashed her nice condo.

Felt like my building in crystal city was swaying back and forth, eventually the evp of our company told us we could go home.

Thought we weren't suppose to get quakes in this area!!

our 911 center in harford co had 60 calls in que for about 30 min due to EVERYONE calling lol...thank god i was sleeping and didnt feel or hear it lol
