Who else thinks the Driver's side window controls are a bit too far away?

I own an e46 too, when going from car to car sometimes I forget where the window controls are, and in the e92 I always hit the rears. Makes me feel so... inadequate.

Always! It's so bad we've thought about taking the door console apart and switching the cables so the fronts are on the back switches. Might still do it, if I get particularly annoyed one day!

I really REALLY miss this from my E46. It made so much more sense. Might sound stupid but this is why I went away from BMW for awhile. I thought if they're putting it there might as well save a bit of money and go Japanese. |

It's an ergonomic flaw. BMW fixed it on an LCI where controls are like 1-2cm closer. I'm considering to buy the LCI control panel actually from junk yard if i can find one.
When I don't think about it, i hit rear window switches, when I do - i don't miss. It's one of few minor ergonomic issues with E90 (other being steering rim covers top of dials and the lock door button in center console is a wierd place).
