Tint Shop burbs of Chicago?
any good tint shops that do good work and fair pricing? Interested in getting tints done, or maybe a couple of us can go and get cheaper

Major Tint, he comes to your house and tints your windows. He has ceramic and regular tints as well in all shades. I highly recommend Major Tint, cuz after a lot of trouble with multiple tint shops around the area, his service and quality was the best out of all. You can find him on Facebook.

Got mine done at Umbra, great work and reasonable price.

Major Tints
Thanks to e92_euro's suggestion I called up Markus from Major Tints. Made an appointment for Saturday and got my ride tinted. I went with the 50% ceramic and 3m crystalline windshield. I can barely tell they are tinted but I didn't want to go 35% to avoid any tickets. A couple of pics so you know what I'm talking about:

In the city 35% is legal for the back and side of a sedan but front's can't be tinted. I didn't want to go 35% on the back then 50% front so I went all 50%. Did it mainly for the heat reduction and to maintain the interior but as far as looks, I wish there was an option for 40%.

I don't unless i'm visiting my sister or if I want to get an Italian Beef at the Duks.
I'm still working on mods to get my car looking like I want it. I like the whole black/red color scheme. Little by little i'll get it looking as nice as some of the other forum users. |
