run flat and gas mileage

Do run flats give you better gas mileage? It seems that my mileage has gone from 21mpg to 18mpg and the only thing I did was remove the run flats.

I wouldn't say so. If anything, you might get better gas mileage since you're lowering the weight of your tires! Check your pressures to make sure that they're correct and go from there.

I went from 193m rims and tires to 220m rims and tires. My tire pressure is 40psi all around, which was the same psi I had on the other rims/tires.
The tires size did change from 225/255 to 235/265

I would say a larger contact patch of the tire 235>225 means more rolling resistance, thus increasing gas mileage. But that much more... not so sure... :
