Just installed Alcantara M-tech steering wheel

Hello all,

I just finished the install of my custom covered M-tech steering wheel with matching shift and e-brake boots. I had the steering wheel covered my Caravaggio of Canada and I did the steering wheel multi-function cover myself. The boots are from LeatherZ.
I went with black thread on the wheel because I didn't want it to get dirty at the track. I've always wanted an Alcantara wheel and WOW, does it look and feel great!

Looks great, was going to do the same thing but wondering how well it holds up over time/wear and tear? I know everything does wear down, but heard fom a few E46 folks that it didn't last

I think you should've left the multi-function cover black to give it more contrast.

Overall, not bad.

Whoa... eh... looks like you left your windows down in the northwest and moss grew all over your steering wheel.

It's not as furry as it looks in pics. It's actually very smooth and great feeling.
Not a problem, it's your opinion and to each his own.

I really wanted something different. That's why I covered the multi-funcion part of the wheel. I can change it anytime I want. I have an extra cover now.

Are those Dinan pedals? Whatever they are, I like 'em. Shit, I haven't even looked at my stock ones to see what they look like.

They're actually the BMW pedals. I wanted the aluminum trim to match the pedals. They feel great and definitely worth a look if you're interested. They give good grip and are stronger than the plastic pedals (except the clutch which is metal - and a bitch to drill!).

How much? If you have to ask...

it's over 700, but worth every penny to me. Not for most people and that's one of the reasons I did it. I don't want to go to a show or track and have people say they've seen this a million times before. I'm looking to make my car unique and to my taste. I'm all about performance and function.

In two weeks I'll be installing a JIC Cross coil-over suspension with UUC adjustable sway bars with Advan RS rims in dark gun metallic wrapped in GY Asymmetric 245f 265r.

looks a little weird.
but if you like it, that's all that matters.
I have the same pedals... I love them!
Not sure about the key ring.
