Well.. you know how there's 6x size 20 torx screws when you see from underneath the edge of the hood?? Two out of the six is unscrewed with no problem.. the others.. I keep trying to unscrew it by turning it.. but it freakin remains in place.. dammit.. I got karma from that damn e90cnote.

Only 1 out of the 6 came out for me. I had to take it to my body shop and they had to RIP them off. Needless to say, the top pieces of my stock grille are trashed.
My body shop said that its a big problem, becuase its metal on plastic. Therefore it strips very very easily. One of the reasons you wont see these grilles on the facelifted e90.

I did mine in LA, if you are close to North Hollywood take it to Marcco's body shop, they know how to get it off there. Didn't cost anything, but i tipped the guy who did it.

if you try to push the grill out and unscrew it at the same time you might get lucky. meaning push the grill away from the screw as you are unscrewing it.

I hate this icon because of that guy. Sorry about your troubles, I just saw that name and started to laugh! You know, ebay sells the CF kidney grills for $25. Maybe those are better? I hear they add around 98hp each. Hope you bought two of them. Good luck mJ!!

Damn...... so I guess this is a common problem. I tried doing what 1clean335i told me to do.. but the damn piece does not even move at all! I guess I'll just head to the bodyshop tomorrow in the afternoon.. hope they're open.
