Anyone use Seafoam on their N54?

Been hearing a good deal about the build up on the intake side of DI engines and was considering doing a cleaning with Seafoam on my car. Was wondering if anyone has done this thus far and if so what results/method have they seen?

I believe, but I may be mistaken, that Mr. 5 has used some product (either seafoam) or otherwise. You could try searching for the post or I'm sure he'll chime in.

Yup just did mine after finding the Mr.5 post regarding it. Mine didn't smoke too much either (9500 on the clock) but did it for piece of mind. Changing the oil in the next day or so as well so figured - why not?

I did it with another specific product and was tons of black stuff coming out of the exhaust.

i did it when i still had my TL. Seafoam is a very common cleaning process among Acurazine forum. but also it depends on how hard/how dirty the car was, sometimes it may have tons of smoke while some have none.
not sure about the N54 motor, but in the V6 TL, it helped and also improved mileage.
