********SOLD 15/10/16********

2007 '56 335i SE in Metallic Sapphire Black 108.5k miles with FULL M Sport Conversion

***Updated Pics Attached***

High Specification including:
  • Sports automatic transmission
  • Multifunction M Sport steering wheel with Paddle shift
  • Cruise control with brake function
  • Full electric memory M Sport seats
  • Full Black leather interior
  • BMW Individual Piano Black Trim
  • 19" M Sport Alloy Wheels
  • **UPGRADED** BMW Professional Nav with iDrive (latest hardware & software as in 2012 BMWs) providing full factory DAB / BMW Apps / BMW Online / Internet / USB audio / IPod Connectivity / 80GB Hard drive / Bluetooth / Voice control
  • **UPGRADED** BMW Alpine HiFi
  • Xenon auto lights
  • Rain sensitive wipers
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Electric folding heated mirrors
  • Climate Control
  • Extended Lighting
  • Extended Storage
  • Power Steering
  • Remote Central Locking
  • BMW Alarm & Immobiliser
  • BMS twin cone intake
  • Custom coded features
  • LED Angel Eyes
  • Goodridge brake lines

This car is truly one of a kind, and I've treated it like a queen since the day I bought it. Along with the great spec from factory, the UPGRADED iDrive using 2012 BMW hardware & software is truly remarkable – there is a massive difference between this version of the iDrive and the previous version found in 2007 BMWs. This newer version has much faster performance with full factory integrated:
  • Navigation with 3D Maps & 7-Digit postcode search
  • Traffic Info
  • DAB Digital Radio & FM/AM
  • 80GB Music Hard drive
  • USB & Bluetooth audio including full iPhone integration (search/playlists/album art/control from steering wheel buttons etc)
  • BMW Apps (Connected Drive, Deezer, Spotify, Napster, Amazon Music, GoPro, ///M Laptimer etc)
  • BMW Internet/Online services
  • Full Bluetooth Telephone Connectivity with messages/email/twitter integration
  • DVD Player
  • Voice control

Amazing spec and very comprehensive service record (2 folders full of receipts). In addition to regular servicing it has also benefited from the following over the years:
  • OEM BMW Sachs dampers all round
  • Genuine BMW rocker cover gasket replacement
  • EBC grooved disks with EBC Yellow pads
  • Genuine BMW Front left/right tension struts
  • Genuine BMW Thermostat
  • Genuine BMW vacuum tanks, pressure converters, vacuum pipes/hoses, VANOS valves, coils etc (all common problems with this engine)

The car has always been run Super Unleaded petrol and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres (excellent ride/handing) - all tyres are in great condition with good tread. No signs of inner/outer tyre wear as the suspension & alignment has been regularly maintained by Wheels In Motion (Chesham).

Consistent with the car’s age & mileage, it has a few areas that let it down, including stone chips / scuffs on lower front bumper/sills / scratches etc – see the images – more detailed pictures can be emailed.

Due to the combination of the positives and negatives of this car, I feel I have priced it fairly. Let me know if you have any questions, would like more pics, or to view the car.

£7,000

WHY? I bought an F10 M5

Lovely car mate, just curious as to how painful the iDrive conversion was? I also have a 56 plate 335i SE just wondering as to whether the upgrade is worth the hassle.. Cheers

The upgrade was done by Jammy on this forum - Definitely something a competent DIYer can achieve, although Jammy made his own looms etc so it would need some research & time. I'd just ask him to do it if you are close by and willing to pay.

Is it worth it? 100% !!!!!!!

I can honestly say I would have sold the car ages ago if I didn't have it, and technology wise it pretty much matches my new car which is a 64 plate with latest NBT iDrive

Pics of scuffs/scrapes/scratches. To get this car back to pristine condition I would factor in a bumper/sill respray.

Just thought I'd clarify something a lot of people have asked me - "what's the m sport conversion?".

Well, all 335i SEs in their standard spec actually came with same suspension steering brakes seats etc as a 335i M Sport - that's because BMW knew the N54 engine was such a beast, so the SE needed the M Sport parts anyway.

In addition, this car had the multifunction M Sport steering wheel with paddle added as a factory option.

Next, it seems various owners (incl me) have been adding to the spec to cosmetically enhance it - including the front/rear bumpers, side sills, interior door sill strips etc.

As it stands right now THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS CAR AND A REAL M SPORT IS THE HEADLINING - something I'd been planning to do but never found a black headlining for sale.

So in summary, the important stuff was already done from factory, and the m sport conversion is just cosmetic.

Deezer connected through iPhone - can select playlists, tracks, search etc through the iDrive or steering wheel - phone stays in the armrest. Same for Spotify/Napster/Amazon Music/iTunes etc

Note that above is the previous keepers plate on the car - then I had my plate on it, and currently it's on the original 56 plate.

So it will need Brake Fluid and MOT around Mar/Apr next year. "Vehicle Check" is some sort of quick once over on the chassis that BMW do - nothing to do with oil etc, they just check the car for about £100, just look at it on the ramp. I've had it done once on the 1 series and they came back saying the wipers need changing! Well worth the money!?
