WTH is going on in Socal?

I was on Valley Blvd around 6pm and I saw over 20 police cars and over a half have already pulled some people over or was about to.

and then later tonight in Irvine. I saw another 2 people getting rolled within 3 blocks.

not to mention last night i saw 5 CHP pulling over 3 tour buses on the freeway.

Did I miss something on the news? Is there some serious organized crime going on in socal that the police is trying to take down?

Well if its anything like in Huntington Beach, those 20 cops were probably for a kid riding a bike without a helmet.
