Minneapolis-St. Paul Meet

I am still 50/50 on whether I can make it out there or not. I emailed Kevin and I am due to make it out to Imola to take a look at the shop. This would be a good excuse to do so. I have a laundry list of mods to be installed and need to pick his brain on a bunch of them. Its going to be a very busy spring thats for sure.

Sounds like you guys are having quite the storm over the next couple of days - how much snow has fallen so far? I'm in Ireland for Christmas, so unfortunatley will miss out on all the fun

Does anyone have a good camera? And would they be willing to bring it to the meet? I have a Nikon S90. Its good, but its not a high end SLR. I'm just thinking ahead, it would be great to post some pics from the meet. See you in a few.

I have a DSLR I was planning to bring along. I think we'll have to plan a group photoshoot for springtime also though, as everyplace looks so messy these days.

Looking forward to the meet! I'm hoping I'll be able to speak as I'm getting my wisdom teeth out a few days before

Sounds familiar! I bought a Nikon D70 a few years back but never got to the stage of being able to utilize its functionality to the fullest. I just never seem to find the time to just head out somewhere and practice.

I'm still trying to figure out the settings on my D5000 (Manual mode, Aperture Setting, etc etc.) I've taken only a few rolling shots. One of my friend's car that I took.

Another friend of mine took my rolling shot in my signature.

You mean like a bra to cover the front end? Probably a good idea. I have never used my car in winter (the meet on the 30th will be the first time), but after only two summers of use, I have an annoyingly large number of tiny chips on my headlight covers and windshield

I hear you, I've been told I'm too anal about my car too! I bought a set of winter wheels / tires back in November as this is my first MN winter w/o a heated garage but I only put about 100 miles on them before the snow hit us. Having another vehicle to use, I just can't bring myself to drive the bimmer in the slop. It still looks so immaculate after being detailed last Nov

I probobaly should be more anal about my car. I take good care of it, but it could always be better. This winter has been rough on it. It looks like some one tried to insert a key on my passanger side (no key hole). This spring I need to get on it.
