Noob question 2011 335i ipod adapter
I just purchased a 2011 335i a few days ago, it came with the usb capable input but not with the bmw adapter. I have been using the regular apple ipod cable but frequently it will stop playing in the middle of a song and switch to tuner or stop playing and the phone speaker will start.
My question is can I expect this from the Apple cable and the BMW adapter or has anyone experienced this problem with one over the other? Trying to justify buying the bmw adapter if it will solve my problem.

You need a BMW Y-Cable, check out this link, they talk about it there. I think you can pick one up for about 20-30 ish.
