Where should I look for sport seats?

I'd like to upgrade my seats to the sport seats if possible. Can someone advise me on the best way of going about this? Doubt anyone will want to do a swap. Maybe search junk yards?

Yes, junkyards or ebay. Plenty of wrecked cars out there, you're probably looking at around $800 for the fronts.

Any suggestions on how to conduct search? How does one typically find car parts from a junkyard?

Typically you can just call them and describe what it is you want and they'll let you know if they have it. Also, most yards these days (especially those that work w/ insurance companies) are linked into national databases so they can search inventories at yards across the country and have the part delivered if they don't have it.

Another place to check would be the classifieds section here. I think I've seen some sport seats for sale in the past. Problem there is it would probably have to be near where you live as shipping could get expensive.

I know someone I talked to took the seats out of a wrecked M3 and used those. Looked pretty sweet.

Try your local dealer....If you bargain hard, you might get a LCI with them too!

Still looking for sport seats. Does anyone have a link to a website that searches junk yards and the like? Can't seem to find one.
