Classic cars

Just wondering if any of you guys have any classic cars that you own and may want to share pictures and stories of.
I love old cars three of my favourites are 60s mustangs, mk1 cortinas and of course the bmw 2002 tii

I guess anything pre 90s is ok, so let's see what you have or had.

2011 BMW M3  [0.00]
I had a series 1 rs turbo, first car and restored it myself, bare shell nut and bolt rebuild. Photobucket has went weird and can't figure out how to link anymore otherwise i'd stick up a pic.

Edit...

Further google swatching has revealed this

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...custom/2285810

Only my old car! I won't be buying that one back....!! lol

Had this for about six years. Only recently sold it. Travelled to Cornwall and drove it home. Bought it from the lovely old lady who owned it from new. A mere 40000 miles.

Flat cap and strig back gloves for me.

I'm an MG person

'74 MGB GT V8
3.5 litre Rover/Buick engine kicking out an awesome 135bhp!
Owned since 1978, with little bits of naughtiness done to it now.
Looks standard, but keeps up well with modern traffic.
Not one baffle in the exhaust, so it sounds a little crisp when it comes on the cam.

V8 music. Lovely.

Who says you need a lot of power to have fun in a car. This is my little toy and shocks most people at roundabouts!

Sadly doesn't look as shiny as this at the moment but I'm planning on getting it restored as soon as I can.

The Mini I sort of get, the Cortinas and Escorts I don't.

They remind me of horrible journeys and the older kid who was a right nob but thought he was God's gift with his mullet and tartan trousers!

This was the sort of thing that some of the older lads had and I loved!

I never got the Ford and Vauxhall thing, one of our mates brothers had a GT Turbo too, might have been about 1990??
It was this colour and I always loved that car...

I had quite a few rs2000's as a lad, loved the Mk2 Escort. Also had big bumper mk2 golf 16v's.

Sadly no pics :-(

I am looking at buying a E24 M6 (or M635csi) one day!

Failing that, then a E34 5er/M5!

I'm trying to find a picture of my Mint mk1 Ren 5 Gordini Turbo I sold a few years back.
There is only a handful left and prices have recently started to climb significantly
