Alpina B3 Flash for TCU

Just did it and WOW

I had my 2008 135i reflashed remotely. The car is an entirely different animal now. The transmission no longer bucks, which it always did off the line when it was cold. Throttle response seems sharper, and overall the shifting is much, much quicker.

You need a 32bit laptop and a BMW cable to do flash it. If anyone wants to use my setup in the GTA toss me a PM.

For those that don't know what im talking about here's a video of someone that reflashed it:

If you buy the cable off ebay ($60) and can scrounge a laptop with windows 32bit, you can have it done remotely.

I paid to have it done via teamviewer. I wanted to make sure it was done properly. But yes after everything is set up on the laptop it becomes very simple.

Sounds good. That issue seems to be isolated as a few other N55 didn't have this problem.

Had this done a week or so ago by Alex@Alpine along with some other coding

All remotely, dude knows his stuff. Would def recommend him and you won't regret the flash it's a great upgrade

I would argue this makes as big of a difference as changing performance software (like cobb etc).

Ey does it give you launch control? Any way of geting launch control on the automatic teannys?
