Where should I purchase tires?

I think its about time I need new tires.. I think I found a bubble on both the front and rear of the drivers side.. I have no idea how that got there, maybe because the car has been sitting in the garage for 4 months?? Wheres the best place I can purchase them? I have 162's with the ugly Bridgestone Potanzas.. Thinking about getting some Michelin Pilot Sport 2 or some Falkens... Thoughts?

the PS2s have nothing but good reviews for most folks who use them. Can't really go wrong there.

Meh - I'm using UHPs right now. When it comes to bang for the buck it is definitely hard to beat. If you want to use if for light track use, I'd stay with PS2s. The sidewalls on the UHPs aren't particularly strong, they're ok, but hard cornering exposes their limits quickly. Treadlife is ok - I've had mine for about a year and seen minimal loss, but RWD guys like to do burn outs so I can't vouch for tirewear in that respects.

Mind you, the UHPs are lightyears better than RFTs - I have no regrets but my next DD tire will be PS2s if that is any indication going forward.

btw, do you guys know how long it will take to receive shipment from tirerack.com? And if its ok if I drive the car with the bubble in the rear tire? Its not a huge one.. I'm guessing it'll be alright as long as I keep it under 100mph

just browse through ebay before you give it a go on any vendor online. i found my set of brand new dunlop 285s for less than $300 on eBay. $340 for the set of dunlop. I went down to local discount tire store, one of them cost more than what i got it for...
