BMW OEM Performance Brake System

Do they have it for the rear for E90 328i? I only see it for the front axle for E90 328's but I don't know about rear.
And, is it worth getting?

For looks probably, for track hell yes. Not sure about the rear. Call any BMW parts dept.

Also, look into Stoptech. They make front and rear if you're looking for a brake upgrade. Be prepared to pay a good amount though.

I would say this kit is not bad for a 328i upgrade, given the price.

With that said, I am extremely hard on brakes and even on the street found myself wanting much more out of a 135i, which comes with the same brakes from the factory and also weighs less.

I have done stainless lines and porterfield r4-s pads along with motul600 fluid to my stock 335xi brakes and find them to be much more effective and fade resistant than the 6 piston/2 piston rebranded brembo offerings from BMW (and BMW Performance, as they are the same but with different powder coat). The extra rotor diameter of the 335 is crucial for the heat dissipation.

I also believe these have some issues with the piston material with track use (read this somewhere on bimmerpost, not sure where though, fwiw).

Yes they have them for the 328i's. I had them front and rear on my previous '06 330i.

No but people have retrofitted them to work. I believe the rears PBK is smaller than the OEM rears on the 335's.

Does it fit on the E90 328i? I've checked that website too but it only says it fits E90 330i, E91 328i, E93 328i.

It is for the E90.

The price is cheaper than what I paid for mine 2 years ago. They were sweet.

I think the reason it is not listed for the rear e90 328i is because the e90 uses a 160mm diameter drum for the parking brake, while the 335's, ix's etc use a 185mm rear drum.

A 335i rear brake will bolt on a 328 e90, but you will lose the parking brake function.

here it is on my 2010 328i, It is not a standard swap It is a lot bigger compared to the 328 rear rotors. Unsure how it compares to the 335 rear brakes.

It's still not a standard swap, Yours should be easier to do than mine. 330 is non lci which is that same as your year...

Talk to IVAN @ LTBMW, they should be able to hook you up with all the Info needed to do the rears.

LTBMW did mine. Fronts were bigger than OEM and rears were the same.

If you have a 330 then the rears would be the same but the rears are a lot bigger compared to the stock 328.

The 330 rears are bigger than the performance rear brakes but have the proper offset. You need the performance rotor as well which is smaller than the stock rotor.

Question: how did you get it to fit on a 328?
