I see that multiple people seem to be running into the issue. To be honest I didn't think anybody would run into it that wasn't doing high rpm full boost launches on slicks or AWD, but it looks like it's happening a little easier than that. It's too bad, because the material has a lot of friction, which I like. Requires less pressure plate.

Why not try Southbend's other clutch options for the 335i? I understand you spoke to Jon directly. They can make a clutch setup with just about any disk material. A Stage 3 organic would be a good all around option with occasional dragstrip use...

Jon suggested a twin disc for drag racing + tracking. I didn't want to sacrifice the smooth clutch feel in my DD for a few trips to the strip.
