How many of you purchased extended maintenance?

I'm wondering if it makes sense to purchase this before my 4yr/50k is up. I'm not sure if the price will go up or not whethere I purchase it after the fact.

I know it covers oil changes, brakes, cabin filter and wiper blades -- but what else?

I can do everything above myself; i've done auto to 5 speed swaps in my first honda, oil pan gaskets, removed the head and adjusted cam lobes with feeler gauges, etc. I've done some work on my prev e90 (bov/dv/chip install lol) I'm somewhat comfortable working on my cars.

Does it make sense to get the maintenance?

Thats what the extended maint covers probably light bulds. But its just maintenance items that are covered and you said you can do those your self then I'd deff opt out pf buying the plan.

I did, because I'm planning to keep the car for a very long time & I just paid it off. Do not buy towards the end of your warranty because it will be more expensive.

When I bought my car a few months ago I was told something like $2,000. I don't see how that's worth it, especially since if the CBS doesn't say its time to replace things they won't do it. Paying 2K for 2 oil changes and wipers? No thanks.

I bought it and quite frankly, it was a waste. DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED MAINT!!!!!!!
I may get three oil changes and a brake job. MASSIVE AND EPIC FAIL!!!
