Air filter for UR CAI

Just thought i would share . I was bored so i decided to goto orchards supply and get some wiremesh. I found the finest mesh they had and bought a foot of it. Then i cut it and attached it to the front bumper. Hopefuly this keeps out the larger rocks and bugs from entering the front bumper. The UR CAI filter sits right behind this hole. Total cost was 2-3$ for a foot of the mesh. not bad right ? What do you guys think?

I guess i can paint it black next time i remove my bumper. U dont have to worry about the fog light because its water tight sealed. As for bugs i did see one before, but its been raining hard and im sure got washed away. Its actually really not noticeable unless u get up close.

my car is pretty much done, im just waiting for the rain to go away before i wash my car and take pics for posting up . I duno, i kind of like the mesh look so i havent painted it black. I suppose the only thing stopping me from the black and blue is because i decided on silver and blue. The vinyl window trim seems to be the only difficult/expensive change i would have to do. After that, painting mesh, grills, paint match reflectors would be a breeze.

I like everything on my car to match, as in if im going silver, then everything will be lighter color. I do however think if i get bored of silver, ill move to black down the road. Its definately quite agressive . Come to think of it, ill have to swap my v710s to gunmetal as well!
