Front brake popping noise
I have an 08 E92 with 10200 miles rarely driven. But lately I notice the front is making a weird popping noise almost every time I hit the brakes. This only occurs on low speed, something like under 20 mph. This is kind of annoying and embarrassing. I did a search but did not get any solutions to problem. I want to avoid going to stealership because I have a lot of mods to remove.

Does the popping sound only happen on the driver side?
I would say it's the pads, but seeing that you rarely drive it, I doubt that's the case.....But it couldn't hurt to check anyway. Other than that, I would check to see if all the nuts and bolts on the front suspension are tightened and torqued right.......Check: lower control arm, bolt that holds the pinch bracket, etc.
