I hope that someone will see what I see, but you have NO PAD left....
The only thing that I see is the steel backing ( which the pad is glued on )
and nothing else. As for the warning ???? It should have gone off already, but ??? Definitely there is no pad left

I don't think you are correct. There is plenty of pad left. As to the noise, I don't have any suggestions.

I thought the red arrow part is the backing that holds the pads. no?

The red arrow is the pad width. The backing is thin metal piece beside the left side arrow.

If there were grinding on the rotor, you would see scoring on the rotor. It appears your rotor is in ok shape.

Guys !
You better look at ANY used or NEW for that matter pad.
There is nothing left on that pad, hopefully this will work...

Look at the thickness of the pad, please...

You have no more pad left, as why the brake light did not go off is that the brake sensor is only on one side, that side might still have some meat left

id get ur brakes done professionally, it looks as if ur outboard pad is down to the pad backing while the inboard pad has pad left since it did not trip the sensor, that means one side must have been seized and not sliding in and out properly. my guess is the piston on the inboard side if seized.

Just did all 4 corners with new pads, rotors, sensors. Cost about $850 from tire rack for parts.
