Actually much of the evidence out there suggests this could be the case. I think too many people make assumptions based off their own perceptions and read too much into one line of the BMW press releases. Just stick with the facts and good solid info.

I agree. That's about where it will be. What IS interesting about the e92 however, is that it shares NO body panels with the E90 unlike the prev-gen 3 series. BMW looses economies of scale, so the price difference between E90 - E92 might be greater.

just a thought.

The same could be said about the majority of the body panels from the E46 coupe/sedan. Do you really believe that it will have that much of an effect?

It won't have much of an effect just like it didn't with the E46...probably 1k to 1.5k difference.

I can care less about where the base price starts, I will be happy if i can get 335i with sport package for 43K. that's all i need. Really.

I asked In Dubai and they told me 49,000$ for the 328i and 54,000$ for the 335i.
And they gave me the new Official E92 Accessories Brochures.

Greg has been spot on with previous insider info on BMW's, I think this will be correct as well.
