question about SSTT

hey guys.. havent been to the forums for a while.. i seem to have a lot of catching up to do.. i had an 07 335 with an SSTT( lease returned) and had no problems at all... i'm planning to get an 09 or 2010 335 ..does the 09+ software upgrades detect any of the tunes(V3, JB3, SSTT) selling right now? would i be safe to reuse my sstt?

Procede with canbus: can clear and read codes when you get them (currently have in my car)
JB3: throws codes cant clear them on its own..need a BT tool to clear them. (never had it)
Since when JB3 throws codes? and Procede doesnt?

Jb3 won't (usually) throw a code if you're on a conservative map, like 3.

from what I've read at least.

JB+ 50% shouldn't either until you raise it

no idea on the sst

SSTT does throw codes especially with newer software. If you had pre 29.2 that is the reason why you never threw a code. Check on the 1addicts site, there are numerous occasions where the SST has thrown tuning codes.. Its always safe to scan your car for codes and clear them if you have them.. Never assume you didn't throw one, especially with BMW creating newer software versions to try and sniff out tunes. CYA...... CYA

i have a SSTT and it hit limp mode after a hard acceleration the first day I had the SSTT in. It has been fine since. Should I worry about a thrown code? (I believe im pre 29.2)

Get a BT cable and you'll be fine. Still very un-likely to get a code with SSTT on a pre 29.2 car unless software has been updated, even then it's quite rare.
