Hi,

I have a 2007 E92, built January 2007 IIRC. It has pro nav, bluetooth, etc.

The car does not have and has never had a CD changer fitted.

I have a Dension Gateway 500 and I know that I need to get the car coded to have a CD changer before the Dension will work. Apparantly, this needs to be done with a BMW CD Changer in the car, which is a pain so I need to buy one.

Having looked on e-bay, there are loads of different ones available with different part numbers. Will these all work with my car? Realoem seems to say I need a specific model:

Do I need this specific one or can I get any of the E90 ones on e-bay as I only want it to plug into the car while it is coded.
