What's up with 335xi?

I guess I missed something re 335xi. More then one poster here stated he actually ordered it, but it appears unavailable on both bmw.ca and yahoo... On the other side it appears on Parkview BMW as old news... It was supposed to be out in April, but it still isn't... In US it was promised to appear in March, and it's not on bmwusa.com... I'm lost. Is it available, or not?

So, is it really possible to place an order for it, now, in Canada?

that's odd. BMW Canada has put the cart before the horse which is unusual. I saw an advert. today in the paper for the 335xi and 328xi

Doronin,

I placed my order in February for late March production. Is currently at the Bremerhaven port awaiting transport. I've been told that I will receive the E90 335xi in late April or early May. It's pretty odd that BMW has just started advertising the 335xi now when the car had been available for order since February. My CA told me that you will NOT find the 335xi on the website until at least the first few vehicles arrive at dealerships and are available for sale. Plus, the website is always behind. The E93 has just recently been added to the website and it had been available for order for quite some time.

I think there are a few of us in the same boat - pun intended.

Mine was built week of Mar 19 and is waiting for a slow boat to Halifax and a slower train to Sask. I was given an ETA of mid-May.

What did you guys order?

I ordered Back Saph., Terra, Burl Wal., Step, Sport, Prem., Nav., CA, Bluetooth, and USB.

This is the same as when i bought my 335i sedan in the summer, it wasn't anywhere on BMW website till a week before i took possession of it. I didn't even know my final price till a couple weeks before it arrived, i was just assuming a couple thousand more over the 330i price.

To those who ordered 335xi - what's lease rate on 335xi now? Did you get any discount?

Are packages and options the same as for 335i - can I base my order on 335i that I can build on bmw.ca? Well, obviously adjusting the base price...

Financing and lease rates are as of yet unknown (to me anyway).

You can build it on BMW.ca and everything is the same except:

1. you can't order active steering;

2. or Paddle shifters; and

3. the sport package does not come with sport suspension.

The pricing for all the options is the same except:

1. Base MSRP is $52,500 (+$2,600); and

2. Sport package is $2,000 (-$500 (no sport suspension)).

The rest is the same. The USB audio integration isn't showing on the site ($350).
