Converting 1pc wheels?

is it possible to convert 1pc wheels? I'm trying to pick up bottle caps and convert them into 3pc wheels. I seen pictures of them but not sure if they are reliable. Can anyone chime into this? Seen a lot of shops overseas that claim they do it.

Why? Why not just buy 3 piece wheels? I'd imagine the cost with doing such a conversion the RIGHT way would be substantial. Also, you're starting with inferior quality out the gate.

Yes, people do it, I had found a company that specialised in it a while back on FB, they posted tons of pictures, ill try to find it again.

is it show car worthy to do the conversion? absolutely
is it track reliable? just leave the converted wheels as show pieces, with that in mind, I would still love to have a 3 piece apex arc-8 wheel

IMO, look into Radinox barrels (made out of steel, heavier) would be my choice than the normally used aluminum barrels
